The self-taught singer Helle Rasmussen has in recent years appeared on the Copenhagen Jazz scene as a seductive and powerful take on the vocal jazz. With a rich velvety soft voice mixed with a little sassiness and attitude, she delivers a playful, spontaneous, and breathtaking performance. With charm and great empathy, she captivates her audience. While you may hear hints of Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, or Anita O´Day, make no mistake about it, Rasmussen has her own unique voice swaying between soft sensuality and warm playfulness.
